Happy Papa's Day!

Happy Day to all the Fathers out there and especially to the man in the Gore household known as Papa, Papi, My Daddy, or Father (when Mama says "go ask your Father"). Because we are not quite old enough to type or even put all of our emotions into words, Mama will do her best to summarize. Mama knows we adore our Papa by...

The way we sob in the morning if Papa leaves before we are awake to see him (even though Mama assures us he gave us a goodbye kiss). And then the way we squeal with excitement and happiness when we hear the garage door open and Papa returns home. This also doesn't include the number of times during the day we ask about him, say we saw his car, or Mama's favorite from Madelaine, "My Papa loves me" just out of the blue with a little hip shake and grin.

When home with Papa, we love to climb all over him, we love to be lifted into the air (where only kids with Papa's who are 6'5 can go), and best of all we love to dance with Papa (especially the shake our bumper move). We are constantly giving hugs and kisses to our Papa. Right now Theodore's favorites include snuggle time on Papa's chest (when the rest of us are out of the room) and some conversation time on his own in the early morning or later evening times. However, we know that all too soon Theodore will enjoy joining us in our more wild fun with Papa.
Lastly, one of Mama's favorite things Papa says frequently about us is...they just make it so easy to love them! You make it easy to love you too Papa!

Love,

Madelaine, Eleanor, and Theodore (and Mama too)

ME are in LOVE!

We are sure you won't be able to tell by the pictures, so we wanted to share that we are totally and completely in love with our little brother. We have done an excellent job overall in transitioning into the role of being big sisters (per Papa and Mama).

We are often the first to try and respond to our brother's cry and do a wonderful job of giving him his pacifier. We have been very observant of Mama and know how to replicate how she positions Teddy's burp cloth or blanket when in his swing or bouncer seat. We do a great job of trying to "shhh" him if unhappy and also attempt to sing some of the songs we know.

We love to shower him with hugs and kisses. We also are very aware of who is holding him if others are around and do not like them to take him too far out of our sight.

We try to include him in on our play as able and cannot wait for the day when he can sit on his own or better yet walk. We also are thoroughly enjoying his new love of "talking" with us.

We love you Theodore. Thanks for being such a great little brother!
Love, ME

Happy 2-months to Teddy!

Hi all! There has been no slowing down in my world and I still hear everyone say I am "such a good baby" so I must be doing something right.

My 2-month stats at my MD appointment had me weighing 12 lb 12 oz (way to make up for a slow start during my cold, huh?!?!) and being 24 inches in length (though in Mama's opinion she thinks I am just a bit longer). I am doing a great job of sleeping between 5-6 hours at night and also am becoming quite the chatter box. I also have a really cute smile and love to show it off to others. With this and the twinkle in my eyes, I think I am pretty irresistible and have a way of making everyone want to cuddle with me!

Much love, Teddy

In the words of one of our current favs...

WE DID IT (Dora the Explorer for those of you not knowing)!!!!! We are officially done wearing diapers during our waking hours. It truly was quite painless in Mama's perspective and both she and Papa are extremely proud of us, but also feeling like this is another step towards no longer seeming like babies. Mama also isn't too keen on the whole use of public restrooms but she is growing in this area too!

Cheers for us!!! Love, ME
P.S. We know you are digging our shoe fashion in this photo, yes? At that start of warm weather, if given a choice to pick our shoes this is what we headed for...easy on/off and we know we can wear them in anything. We also know Mama chooses to pick her battles, so off we went in our boots.
