Our 1st Sledding Adventure!

We recently experienced some tropical-like temperatures for MN and got the chance to use our new sled (a favorite b-day gift). Though we weren't big fans of putting on our snowpants, boots, etc. we quickly forgot about this when we started to move!

Maybe next year we can do more off road sledding!

Our 1st Birthday Bash!!!

It sure is fun turning one! We were able to spend time with family, get more gifts even though we were just showered at Christmas time, and experience our first cake-eating contest!

Prepping for the event. The goal...allow the most mess with the easiest clean-up (Papa came up with this idea of putting us in our Bumbo seats on the floor on a tablecloth - worked great!)

We went to the zoo, zoo, zoo!

We had a great first trip to the MN Zoo. We enjoyed looking at all the animals and especially liked things we could sit on or touch.
Note: Mama is saying just look and don't touch the window because of all the gross fingerprints!

One of our most favorite attractions was the aquarium.

For the most part we enjoyed all the sounds and plants...it felt like we were in a jungle!

It is hard work turning one and visiting the zoo all in the same day!

Happy 1st Birthday to ME!!!

Wow, what changes can occur in one year! It is hard to believe this much time has passed since our little munchkins arrived. We have been doubly blessed each morning for the past year - We love you girls!!!

ME spent their special day making their first trip to the MN zoo and are looking forward to a birthday bash with family this weekend. Check back soon for pictures from both!

We were practicing "cheers" with our cups today in honor of the holiday, but each attempt just resulted in us switching...

We did however master raising our cups for a toast...
