Kasson Aquatic Center Wrap up for 2015!

 Accomplishments from summer fun at the pool:

1.  M and E successfully passed another session of swimming lessons (T you are up to start next summer)!

2.  M and E independently swim in the pool, go down the slides, and off of the low board, only wearing life vests for the high board.

3.  T you are expanding your ability to independently swim in the water, being able to jump in and swim back on your own.  You wear a life vest for the diving boards and water slides.

4.  H you braved the low board by your self for the first time this summer with your life vest.  You love to jump off the side and also enjoy going down the water slides.

Dance Camp 2015

Good job ME!!!

Duluth 2015

We made a weekend trip up to Duluth from the cabin, and enjoyed some extremely warm temps, even with the breeze coming off of Lake Superior.  You children loved the cool water of Lake Superior and could have spent hours just splashing around.  

 

We stayed at a waterpark hotel, also a favorite for the wild four!

 

 We took a trolley ride around town and did some other sightseeing activities.

Lucky to have this beauty so close for a visit!

A visit from our cousins...

We completely enjoyed the time spent with our cousins, Jackson and Brock, when they visited from Texas.  

Looking forward to the next time we see you!!!  We love you!

4th of July, 2015

The 4th of July is always highly anticipated at the Gore household being it means we go to the cabin!  This year, though, we first made a stop in Northfield to attend the wedding of our dear friend, Karen, to Bob.  It was a beautiful ceremony and while we would have loved to stay for the party, we had to hit the road north (and we had Cisco pup along too)!

Congrats Karen and Bob.  We are so happy for you both!

We arrived at the cabin refreshed, after sleeping on the ride, and we were ready for some cabin fun!

Grandpa Ken provided rides on the Super Mable...

Papa provided rides on the jet ski...

There were good times on the pontoon and in the water...

There of course were fireworks and sparklers...

and the celebration of Great-Grandma Ollie's 101st birthday!
