4th of July, 2015

The 4th of July is always highly anticipated at the Gore household being it means we go to the cabin!  This year, though, we first made a stop in Northfield to attend the wedding of our dear friend, Karen, to Bob.  It was a beautiful ceremony and while we would have loved to stay for the party, we had to hit the road north (and we had Cisco pup along too)!

Congrats Karen and Bob.  We are so happy for you both!

We arrived at the cabin refreshed, after sleeping on the ride, and we were ready for some cabin fun!

Grandpa Ken provided rides on the Super Mable...

Papa provided rides on the jet ski...

There were good times on the pontoon and in the water...

There of course were fireworks and sparklers...

and the celebration of Great-Grandma Ollie's 101st birthday!

VBS 2015

We spent the mornings of this week at church, participating in fun activities while learning about God.  You girls were in a group together and Mama was a group leader for the boys and a couple others.  The week ended with a program showcasing the songs and messages we had learned.

Summer officially starts now!

Hello one of our favorite summer activities...we are back!!!!!

ME's last day of Kindergarten!!!

Congrats on completing Kindergarten girls!  We are so very proud of you!

The boys and I had a great time having a picnic lunch on your last day and then hanging out for the rest of the afternoon, playing outside with you and your friends.

A huge thank you to these two ladies, your teachers, who helped make your year a great success.

ME decided one of their summer activities would be gymnastics.  We are lucky to have a gymnastics center nearby in Byron, and they had a great time learning some of the basic skills.

End of the school year field trips for MET!

Mama feels extremely blessed to have been able to attend each of your end of the year field trips...of course with Harrison coming along as well!

Theodore, your class enjoyed a nature-filled morning out on the Ness Farm.  Though it wasn't the nicest day, the highlight for you and Harrison was skipping rocks into the water!  I think you both could have stayed there forever!

Eleanor, your class's field trip to Oxbow was right after Theodore's, so we boogied to meet you for your picnic lunch and then hung out the rest of the afternoon.  

Madelaine, your class's field trip to Oxbow was the following week, and we were also able to join you for your picnic lunch and the afternoon adventures!

Thanks MET (and thanks to your teachers too) for letting Harrison and I tag along!
